Homecoming

Went to Genting yesterday and came back today. Did all the usual stuff, sat all the rides(including space shot), played food poker, camwhored and loved the weather. And luck seemed to be with us the whole way, empty rides, good tickets, beautiful weather, etc.

I'm sure the rest would post the pictures on their blogs or facebook, if you wanna see them.

And to complete my awesome two days. My sister just touched down from UK! She was screened at the airport and she is fine btw.

Besides the possibility of a spreading virus, my sister brought with her the ultimate UK souvenir.XD

A Chelsea Season 08/09 Champions League Frank Lampard Jersey!

This was the jersey he wore when he should've led us to the Champions League Final.I've already wrote a long post about that so I'm not gonna repeat it.

Probably gonna sleep in it first. Which is what I am gonna do now(without the jersey). Dead tired.

Birds & Apples

Ok i guess its about time I do another post before my blog is listed as "dead"(which it probably is). Well in my defence the lack of post is caused of my A-levels Finals!(not that I update much anyway).

Anyway, lack of posts aside, my exams just past its midway point this afternoon. Had the 6th paper in my 11 part test. And it was harder than the previous 5 papers put together. Let's not go into details.

Alright in between sleeping, eating, pooping and studying, I did manage to squeeze in some me-time. And no, my me-time does not consist of sexually-related activities.

Anyway, some of those "me-time" was spent on Twitter!

If you don't know what this is.....go kill yourself...k k just joking. If you really don't know what Twitter is, well is sort of like a micro-blogging sites that allows us to post random stuff within 140 characters. Personally, I prefer this sort of blogging since I am usually too lazy to type out long posts. Also, I always get random thoughts that I wanna express out but doesnt seem right as a blog post or a msn pm.

And the coolest thing about Twitter is that lots of celebrities use it, eg, Taylor Swift, Megan Fox, John Mc Cain, Oprah Winfrey, Taylor Swift....etc. In short, you get to read what they're doing or what they're feeling or what they want you to know they're thinking or what their PR officers want you to think...

Oh and you also get to be constantly updated with all the latest stuff happening everywhere.

For example, you get to know that they just came out with the new 13in. Macbook Pro.

This is how my Macbook looks like.

And this is how the new Macbook Pro looks like.

See any differences?Well you shouldnt since both are physically identical. The only thing is that the new Macbook Pro comes with better specs than my Macbook and its cheaper by a few hundred MYR. Bloody crap.....If only i waited a few more months.
As for the Macbook line, they're most probably inverting it back into the white polycarbonate shell. Thus, my version in a way can be classified as "Vintage" or "Limited Edition". Hahaha. Yes yes i know i am only trying to make myself feel better.

Still, I prefer the cool aluminum finishing to the white polycarbonate armour.

My Precious and her sidekick, the Mighty Mouse*no im not joking*

Ok, gotta drown myself in math now. Buh-bye.

The Finale

FA Cup Champions 2009!!!XDDDDD

Just when A-levels reached its gloomiest period, finally a ray of sunshine.

As usual Chelsea just had to concede an early goal. This time as early as the 26th second.0.0.

But as usual Chelsea came back strongly.

Didier Drogba, the man who has scored in essentially every final Chelsea played in, equalised with a thumping header.

And then, my personal favourite, Super Frank, scoring his 20th goal of the season for the 5th season running and effectively won the game.

Thank you, Mr. Guus Hiddink. When you took over, the only trophy that i thought we had
the remotest chance of winning was the FA Cup. Instead you pushed Chelsea back into the EPL race, should've took us to Rome and of course brought some silverware back to the Bridge.

Now doesnt the world seem a little brighter?

ahhh....

I bet it does..hehe...Off to the library now. This time in high spirits.

Flying at the Emirates

Okay okay...I promise this is my last Chelsea-related post for the season(or maybe second last there's still the FA cup final) unless they somehow miraculously win the EPL title.

Anyway, after Wednesday regrettable incidentssss, I didnt expect neither team to put up much of a fight. But, as usual, football never lives up to your expectation. It shatters them.(very american-idol)

As always, Chelsea started second best. But managed to score. 4 times.

CHELSEA 4-1 ARSENAL

And that's third place secured.

Last Friday marked the last day of A-levels classes. Not sure how i felt. Happy?not exactly..Sad?Don't think so. It seemed only a couple of weeks ago, when I first entered the DSA...sat in front of the class with eeshwer and roeseann (dun give me that look).....

Then somehow, through a combination of football thrash-talking, where's-class-later, and can-i-borrow-your-paper, got to know some fantastic people. Just some mind you. Haha just joking.

And of course HELP has taught me loads. Here's a list of things that I've definitely improved in..

#1. Chordaidi, poker and card games in general
#2. Swearing
#3. Foosball
#4. Pool
#5. Squeezing into crowded buses and lifts
#6. Thrash-talking
#7. Knowledge of cars(thanks to the abundance of expensive cars in and around HELP)
#8. And probably a bit of math and econs and physics....

Anyway, no point reminiscing over the past when there's so much to look forward to in the future-cliche-ness.

Football 101

How do you beat an English team in a Champions league match?

Step 1
Find the best team outside England. In this case, its FC Barcelona.
Step 2
Get a cock-eye referee from some unknown league and make sure he doesn't award the English team in question any penalty no matter how blatant it seemed.
Step 3
For optimum results, get the Uefa officials to pull some strings as they do not want another all-English final.

And that's exactly how Chelsea got knocked out of the Champions league.

After managing to keep a clean sheet at the Nou Camp, Chelsea enjoyed a good start with Michael Essien scoring a sumptious left-foot volley.

Then, the game turned ugly. Barca started using their hands to defend every chelsea counter-attack.

When hands don't work, they went for the legs.

After shutting Barca out for 92 minutes, Iniesta popped up with Barca's only shot on target.

After that, Tom Henning Ovrebo, aka cock-eye ref, still refuses Chelsea a deserving penalty for the 5th time.

Ballack should've punched him

Drogba should've too

Word of advice to ManU. Barca is overrated. But with the UEFA on their side, don't bother trying to win any penalties or beat any offside traps.

What's New Isn't Always Improved

Chelsea revealed their new kit today for the 2009/10 season, and sad to say, its truly hideous.like seriously.

Adidas really has outdone themselves this time. N I thought the current one was bad (when it was released last year).

"As always adidas has incorporated the highest sporting, technology and design standards into the shirt."

Yea rite..its supposed to go for the classic look. Also, it looks like a cyclist shirt which I don't really understand.

I don't get this picture either

The dude on the right is supposed to be the "12th man" in the team....ritee.....

Ah well, I'll grow to like it sooner or later.

 Probably later.

X people

Hvn't been to the movies in ages, I think my last movie was Changeling....which isn't the most exciting show you'll watch.

Anyways, X-Men Origins came out today, and I watched it. Today.

Gone are the days when Wolverine go round slashing baddies with his classic blue and yellow tights. Nowadays, superheroes like him either wears black suits, or casual clothes or nothing at all*spoiler*.

The movie likes its namesake was about Wolverine's origin, how he got his adamantium claws, etc. Didn't expect it to be spectacular but it was one those movies that is mandatory for guys/comic fans/x-men fanatics to watch.

Gambit played by *edit*some new guy, pretty cool but was given a too minor role.

Then there's Sabretooth.

Played by GodKnowsWho. Just a pirated version of Wolverine. Has regeneration abilities and sharp finger nails instead of claws minus the adamantium.

Finally, Wolverine's girl friend. Pretty. But not drop-dead-gorgeous.

Overall, cool fighting scenes. Overdose of CGI (especially on Gambit). Plot was kinda shallow. 1 hour 45 minutes.

3 out of 5

PS....fp3 mocks sucked.
